You can also add a Performance Handling package with Brembo brakes. There's a bigger 485-horsepower V8 available with the Scat Pack and that comes with a significant boost in acceleration.

Engines and performance in the 2022 Dodge Charger

The Dodge Charger starts its parade of engines with a V6 that's available with all-wheel drive. Car and Driver tested the Charger R/T Scat Pack with 485 horsepower at its track and found its zero-to-60 time was a blistering 3.8 seconds. The 5.7-liter V8 gives you 370 horsepower and 395 pound feet of torque in the R/T trim. There’s a 717-horsepower 6.2 liter V8 and a jaw-dropping supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 797 horsepower.

Dodge Charger performance packages

You can get a Dynamics package in the Scat Pack with Brembo front brakes, a flat-bottom steering wheel and 20-inch wheels. With the Performance Handling group, 20-inch black wheels are available along with a sport-tuned suspension. With the Widebody package, you’ll be rolling with adaptive damping suspension, eye-catching Brembo brakes, performance tires and the fun of 20-inch black wheels.

Speed in the 2022 Dodge Charger

Take a spin in the SRT Hellcat Red Eye or the SRT Hellcat and you can hit zero-to -60 mph in 3.6 seconds. With the SRT Hellcat, your top speed will be 196 mph and the SRT Hellcat Redeye will deliver a maximum speed of 203 mph. The Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye can do a quarter of a mile in a mere 10.6 seconds. The Charger Scat Pack has a zero to 60 time of 4.3 seconds and the Charger R/T can do it in 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.

Infotainment technology

The 2022 Dodge Charger comes with the 7-inch touch screen standard along with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and a 6-speaker stereo.
